Job summary

SSR seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead high-scope projects, serving as the primary client contact and integrator of people, product, and profit in Tampa, FL. You will plan, execute, and monitor budgets, while mentoring junior PMs and ensuring SSR quality standards.

Ideal candidates bring proven leadership, strong client relationships, and expertise in financial planning, scheduling, and multidisciplinary coordination to drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Technical or Bachelor's degree in a major discipline with ten years of related project experience OR fifteen years on similar projects.
• Proven leadership as a trusted advisor to clients and ability to manage projects of various size and complexity.
• Expertise in proactively managing project financials with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-scope, high-complexity projects or multiple programs; act as primary client contact and trusted advisor.
• Develop financial plans, manage budgets, and oversee manhour estimates with discipline leaders.
• Coordinate proposals, supervise documentation, and ensure contracts are executed and aligned with scope.
• Mentor Project Managers I and II; lead kickoffs, set milestones, and maintain QA/QC and risk logs.
• Build client relationships, support business development, and oversee AR and revenue forecasting.
