Job summary

Blackbaud is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex technology implementations within its Professional Services team in the UK. You will oversee end-to-end delivery, governance and customer success across multiple engagements, including enterprise-scale programs.

You will collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Consulting, Product and Support to ensure value realisation, manage risks, and drive adoption. Some UK travel and overnight stays may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex technology implementations or similar Professional Services engagements.
• Strong grasp of project management methods, governance and software implementation lifecycle.
• Experience managing scope, schedules, budgets, forecasts, resources, risks and change control.
• Commercial acumen and experience with contracted customer engagements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Comfort using project management tools and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to use approved AI tools to boost productivity with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of complex technology implementation projects.
• Manage multiple Professional Services engagements concurrently, from smaller prescriptive projects to enterprise implementations.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering scope, resources, milestones, and governance.
• Monitor delivery against schedules and budgets; take corrective action when off track.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies and escalations.
• Control project scope, budget, forecast and resource requirements; handle out-of-scope work via change control.
• Lead change requests, statements of work, and collaboration with subject-matter experts.
• Support Sales with scoping, estimation and delivery planning; lead project kick-offs and governance forums.
• Build trusted relationships with customer sponsors, executives and project teams; communicate progress to all stakeholders.
• Coach and guide the delivery team; ensure accurate project documentation and adherence to delivery methodologies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Blackbaud delivery practices.
