Job summary

Blackbaud is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives, partnering with business and technology leaders to align priorities and deliver measurable business value.

You’ll facilitate planning, executive reviews, and decision forums, advancing SAFe practices, and evolving to scalable delivery. You’ll also strengthen Operational Value Streams and help teams overcome impediments while guiding organizational change.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in program, project, or portfolio management.
• Experience in Agile and SAFe environments with multiple teams, stakeholders, and dependencies.
• Understanding of Operational Value Streams, flow-based delivery, and scaled ways of working.
• Experience leading or supporting organizational transformation or delivery-model evolution.
• Strong facilitation skills for planning sessions and decision forums.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills with business and senior leaders.
• Experience with SAFe artifacts (ARTs, PI Planning, Inspect & Adapt) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional programs from planning through execution, aligning priorities and delivering business value.
• Coordinate work across teams with business and technology leaders, managing risks, dependencies, decisions, and priorities.
• Facilitate planning sessions, leadership discussions, executive reviews, and decision forums for timely execution.
• Create visibility into program progress, outcomes, risks, and dependencies for leadership attention.
• Help teams adopt and mature SAFe practices and evolve toward scalable delivery models.
• Strengthen Operational Value Streams to improve flow and visibility across the organization.
• Identify systemic delivery challenges and work with leadership to address impediments and improve effectiveness.
