Job summary

A General Contractor in South Florida is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee ground-up multifamily construction projects across the region. The role requires managing projects from preconstruction through completion, ensuring safety, on schedule delivery, budget adherence and quality.

Key duties include budgeting, scheduling, cost reporting, subcontractor management and close coordination with owners, architects, and engineers.

Qualifications

Minimum five years of commercial construction project management experience.
Ground-up multifamily experience strongly preferred.
Strong budgets, contracts, scheduling and subcontractor management knowledge.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Bachelor's degree in CM, engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage all phases of ground-up multifamily construction from preconstruction through closeout.
Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts and cost reports.
Manage subcontractor procurement, contracts, change orders, RFIs and submittals.
Coordinate closely with Superintendents, owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors.
Lead project meetings and communicate progress, risks and key decisions to stakeholders.
Monitor quality, safety, permitting, inspections and overall contract compliance.
Oversee project documentation, billing, closeout and turnover.
