Job summary

Atlas Connections seeks a Project Manager/Senior Project Manager to guide data-center and mission-critical construction from preconstruction to turnover. The role requires coordinating with clients, design teams, and field leaders, plus managing budgets and schedules.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction, strong MEP knowledge, and proven leadership. Hybrid work is offered; travel to sites and in-person meetings are expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent construction experience.
• Five+ years of construction or project management experience.
• Experience delivering data centers, mission-critical facilities, or similar complex programs.
• Strong knowledge of MEP and critical infrastructure.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts, and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Manage mission-critical and data center construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Coordinate with clients, executives, design professionals, field leadership, and partners.
• Assist with or lead estimating, budgeting, and procurement planning.
• Develop, maintain, and evaluate project schedules and milestones.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, cost reports, and change orders.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for buyout, contract execution, and scope.
• Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change documentation.
• Coordinate MEP and critical infrastructure systems including electrical and cooling.
• Monitor safety, quality, schedule, cost, and risk throughout construction.
• Lead project meetings, site visits, and stakeholder updates.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Support equipment procurement and integration of long-lead systems.
• Coordinate with commissioning and operations teams for turnover.
• Build relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Mentor junior project staff and support business development.
