Job summary

Metric DCX in the United States is seeking a Senior Project Manager responsible for end-to-end delivery including financial performance, contract administration, scheduling, risk management, quality and client relationships. You will lead the project team to ensure safety, on-time delivery and budget adherence.

You will oversee budgets, change orders, vendor payments, and close-out, while building strong relationships with owners and subcontractors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of construction experience on large-scale data centers or complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of project financials, contracts, scheduling and risk management.
  • Proven ability to manage large multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, cost-to-complete and cash flow.
  • Identify potential cost exposures and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Review subcontractor and vendor requisitions, change orders and payments.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage owner and subcontractor change orders from identification through approval and close-out.
  • Ensure contractual requirements, notices and documentation are handled appropriately.
  • Identify and recover legitimate project costs.
  • Work closely with the Superintendent to develop and maintain the project schedule.
  • Monitor critical path activities, delays and schedule impacts.
  • Provide regular updates to the client and project leadership.
  • Build strong, professional relationships with subcontractors and trade partners.
  • Address performance issues quickly and effectively.
  • Lead project meetings and ensure clear communication across the project team.
  • Work closely with estimating and field teams to ensure successful procurement and execution.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with owners and key stakeholders.
  • Keep clients informed of project progress, risks, changes and critical issues.
  • Provide solutions and maintain a high level of professionalism throughout the project.
  • Establish and manage an effective project close-out strategy.
  • Ensure quality standards, documentation and outstanding work are completed on time.
  • Track and resolve issues throughout the project to prevent delays at close-out.

The Role:

The Senior Project Manager will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of assigned projects, including financial performance, contract administration, scheduling, risk management, quality, and client relationships. They will lead the project team and ensure the project is delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial & Budget Management
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, cost-to-complete and cash flow.
