Job summary

Michels Underground Cable, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee a phase of a large, complex project or multiple large projects.

You will own the project from proposal through profitable completion, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork. Ideal candidates have extensive experience in MV duct banks, substations, and campus distribution, with proven leadership, reliability, and communication skills for data center and mission critical environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with MV duct banks, substation feeds, underground transmission, or campus distribution systems for data centers.
• Experience with Project Management software (Primavera, HCSS, etc.)
• Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team
• Ability to travel and commit to long term onsite projects

Responsibilities

• Manage a phase of a large complex project or multiple large sized projects.
• Accountable for all aspects of a project's success from the initial proposal/bidding process, to meet or exceed client expectations, to profitable completion, with emphasis on safety performance.
• Support data center and mission critical projects focusing on MV duct banks, substation feeds, underground transmission, and campus distribution systems.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
