Job summary

The Beck Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, multi-project efforts in the Dallas area. You will oversee on-site teams, manage client relationships, and drive preconstruction activities including bids, buy-out, and contract administration.

You will review Change Orders, monitor schedules, and push value engineering to improve cost and outcomes on projects typically ranging from $100M to $150M. Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Oversee on-site construction with a team of 5–20 project personnel
• Lead client relationships and ensure project expectations are met
• Drive preconstruction efforts including bid analysis and procurement
• Review and develop Change Orders with subcontractors
• Manage project schedule and Beck scheduling policy
• Identify cost savings through value engineering
• Develop accurate budgets for general conditions
• Negotiate disputes and maintain owner-architect-subcontractor relations
• Pursue $25M+ annual work opportunities

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site construction and direct field teams to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence
• Maintain strong client interface to build trust and exceed expectations
• Lead preconstruction activities including bidding, buy-out, and contract administration
• Review proposed changes with Owner/Architect and prepare Change Orders with subcontractors
• Monitor project schedule and enforce Beck’s scheduling standards
• Drive value engineering to optimize cost and performance
• Prepare and control general conditions and project budgets
• Negotiate disputes and manage relationships with Owners, Architects, and subs
• Cultivate opportunities to win substantial new work annually
