Job summary

The Beck Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join a dynamic project team in Dallas. You will support the team leader on project management duties across preconstruction, procurement, contracts, and closeout, while helping manage schedules and budgets.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in construction, proficiency with industry software, and a proactive, collaborative attitude focused on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant construction project or preconstruction experience
• Experience with construction software tools (Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, Revit, CMiC) is a plus
• Willingness to learn, mentor others, and collaborate with design and field teams

Responsibilities

• Assist the team leader on project management duties, including preconstruction, procurement, contract administration and closeout
• Develop accurate project schedules with the Superintendent and assist in weekly look-ahead schedules
• Process subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders in a timely and accurate manner
• Support budget setup and subcontractor billings
• Enforce Beck Health & Safety plan and coordinate with design teams for coordination and risk mitigation
