Job summary

The Beck Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead high‑value construction projects and manage all aspects of schedule, budget, and client relationships. The role involves directing on‑site teams, coordinating preconstruction efforts, and driving value through strategic contracting and risk management.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant commercial construction experience.
• Experience leading projects with values at or above $100 million.
• Led projects as Project Leader responsible for financial, completion, and schedule outcomes.
• Understanding of pre-project planning and its impact on delivery.
• College degree; experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
• Experience with Excel, Synchro, Procore, Bluebeam, CMiC and Revit is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site construction with teams of 5–20 engineers, supers, and subcontractors.
• Lead client interface to build trust and exceed expectations at every stage.
• Direct pre-bid activities including bid packages, meetings, and bid analysis.
• Review and develop Change Orders with subcontractors for accuracy and reasonableness.
• Manage project schedule to stay on track per Beck scheduling policy.
• Identify cost-savings opportunities through value engineering.
• Maintain accurate general conditions and budgets.
• Negotiate disputes and resolve issues with Owner, Architect, and subs.
• Ensure compliance with Contract Documents and breach understanding.
• Develop relationships to win $25M+ in annual work.
