Job summary

The Beck Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale construction programs in the Dallas area. You will manage project financials, scheduling, risk, quality, and client relationships while guiding project teams toward safe, economical, and timely delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of commercial construction experience, familiarity with local markets, and a track record as a project leader. Procore, Revit, and other construction technologies are preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant commercial construction experience (Mission Critical OR High End Hospitality)
• Knowledge of local market and city regulatory requirements
• Has completed one or more projects as Project Leader in charge of outcome (financial, completion, schedule)
• Has been part of a larger project team supporting the team leader on PM duties
• Understands the impact of pre-project planning on delivery
• College graduate with relevant degree
• Experience using Excel, Synchro, Procore, Bluebeam, Egnyte, CMiC, and Revit or comparable construction technologies is a plus
• Estimator is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support the preconstruction effort including assembling bid packages, directing pre-bid meetings, analysis of bids, award, and contract negotiation
• Identify and lead cost savings through value engineering
• Assemble accurate general conditions estimates and maintain GC budgets
• Ensure construction, subcontracts, and purchase orders align with Contract Documents
• Understand breach of contract and steps to enforce
• Analyze change order requests and negotiate changes
• Mentor, train, and supervise direct reports (Project Engineers, Assistant PMs)
• Forecast project costs and report to leadership monthly
• Oversee creation and maintenance of the project schedule and assist with schedule updates
