Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation of complex, mission-critical communication system projects. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, and serve as the primary point of contact for customers and executives.

The role emphasizes delivering on time and within budget while applying PMBOK and Six Sigma practices to improve processes. Travel 25-50% and compliance with security requirements are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of project management experience, or 7+ years in project management, systems engineering, or related field.
• Experience forecasting and driving project revenue.
• Technical domain experience in Public Safety communications systems, two-way radio/cellular infrastructure, military communications, IT networks, or civil construction.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate cross-functional project teams and third-party vendors for seamless delivery.
• Develop and maintain baseline project plans, tracking milestones and critical path activities.
• Act as primary contact for external customers and internal executives; conduct reviews and reporting.
• Apply PMBOK principles and Six Sigma methodologies to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.
