Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation of complex, mission-critical communication system projects. The Senior Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for all project phases, ensuring deliverables are completed on schedule, within budget, and to customer specifications.

You will direct cross-functional teams, forecast revenue, manage budgets, and apply PMBOK and Six Sigma to drive performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of project management experience, or 7+ years of progressive experience in project management, system engineering, or a related field.
• Experience forecasting and driving project revenue.
• Technical domain experience in Public Safety comms, Two-way radio, Military comms, IT networks or civil construction.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate cross-functional project teams for seamless project delivery.
• Lead large-scale programs or components of enterprise initiatives.
• Manage project financials, including budget establishment, variance auditing, and revenue forecasting.
• Develop and maintain baseline project plans, tracking milestones and critical paths.
• Act as primary contact for external customers and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct regular project reviews and status reporting.
• Apply PMBOK and Six Sigma to drive process improvements.
• Drive change management by controlling scope, schedule, and cost.
