Senior Project Manager - Low Voltage / Building Technology

Join us to apply for the Senior Project Manager - Low Voltage / Building Technology role at Aptitude: Intelligent Integration.

This position requires extensive travel across the US, potentially up to 100%. Applicants must be willing to travel frequently.

Role Summary

The Senior Aptitude Project Manager will lead regional efforts across all project phases, focusing on strategic direction, operational excellence, financial management, team leadership, and stakeholder relationships. Responsibilities include driving contracting, business development, and risk management to meet or surpass contractual and financial goals, aligning with JE Dunn’s strategy, vision, and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support safety culture and promote injury-free environments.
  • Coordinate design and construction efforts for technology systems, ensuring standards are met.
  • Provide technical expertise on design assist, installation, and network integration.
  • Create scopes of work and responsibility matrices specific to projects.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs, obtain vendor and trade partner pricing, and develop budgets or proposals.
  • Manage project budgets, costs, schedules, staffing, billing, and collections.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate project teams.
  • Support deployment of Aptitude strategies to meet project objectives.
  • Participate in communication programs to market and deliver technology services.
  • Develop project plans and schedules, track progress, and report milestones.
  • Identify and resolve issues promptly throughout project lifecycle.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and ensure proper documentation.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Maintain professional knowledge through workshops and networking.
  • Engage with civic organizations to promote Aptitude offerings.
  • Manage consulting processes and initiate business development activities.
  • Oversee strategic direction, resource management, and client relationships.
  • Lead regional communication on Aptitude integration.
  • Recruit, select, and train new team members.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years in IT/Security/Life Safety systems.
  • 8+ years of project management experience.
Skills & Abilities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to develop proposals, manage budgets, and build relationships.
  • Knowledge of project processes and safety culture.
