Job summary

Xcel Energy seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end, large complex projects or transformational work streams. You will manage scope, schedule, cost, resources and risk, aligning financial, compliance and safety goals with Major Projects Group objectives.

Responsibilities include planning, business case development, cross-functional leadership, and effective stakeholder engagement to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years work experience in operations, technology, finance, or comparable function.
• BS Engineering, Construction, Business, Information Technology or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10 years' experience in project management and process improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate, train, lead and influence others, and adapt to change quickly.
• Experience with EPC delivery model for large capital projects.
• Previous experience supporting regulatory filing, rate case proceedings, or CPCN applications.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning: Identify quality project options, develop business cases, and secure required approvals.
• Lead requirements gathering and planning process while engaging all key stakeholders.
• Develop solution designs that define appropriate project scope and ensure coordination with key initiatives.
