Job summary

Scorpio is seeking a results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead complex construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will serve as the trusted leader for clients and project teams, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence while upholding Scorpio’s quality standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction project management experience.
• Experience delivering projects valued at $25 million or more.
• Strong expertise in costs, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction science, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• Strong client-facing and presentation skills.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the Scorpio client experience from preconstruction through warranty.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the owner and Scorpio.
• Lead projects from preconstruction through completion and closeout.
• Develop, maintain, and manage the construction project schedule.
• Establish, monitor, and project job costs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks.
• Lead Owner/Architect/Engineer meetings and maintain strong project communication.
• Process change events and associated change orders.
• Review and approve subcontractor pay applications and field invoices.
• Coordinate closely with the Superintendent on site logistics and project management.
• Participate in site safety initiatives and help ensure a strong safety culture.
• Review project quality and ensure work meets Scorpio and project standards.
• Provide leadership and direction to project team members and project partners.
• Apply expertise in construction costs, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering practices to drive successful project outcomes.
