Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• 10+ years of accounting experience; 5+ years in job cost or project accounting.
• Understanding of WIP schedules, percentage‑of‑completion accounting, and change orders is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, analyze, and reconcile job cost ledgers with accurate expense allocation.
• Monitor actual costs against estimates and budgets; report variances.
• Coordinate with project managers to create progress billings based on % of completion."
• Review and process subcontractor pay applications.
• Assist with payroll processing and job costing allocations; ensure labor burden tracking and certified payroll reporting (if applicable).
• Drive process improvements to refine job costing and internal controls.
• Assist with month‑end close processes; support audits.
