Job summary

Scorpio is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead projects from conception to completion in the New York area. You will act as the owner’s main liaison, manage costs, and drive proactive risk mitigation while coordinating with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure quality delivery.

The role requires a strong background in commercial construction, hands-on project management experience, and proficiency with Procore or similar tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction science, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 5+ years of construction project management experience including experience with commercial construction.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Create & maintain the Scorpio client experience from preconstruction through warranty.
• Be the primary point of contact between the owner and Scorpio.
• Update and project costs.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Conduct Owner/Architect/Engineer meetings.
• Process change events and associated change orders.
• Review and approve subcontractor pay apps and field invoices.
• Assist superintendent with site logistics and management.
