Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead delivery of major expansion and new construction projects. You will oversee budgets, schedules, contracts, and multidisciplinary teams from design through closeout, ensuring client satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, clear communication with stakeholders, and proven ability to manage complex programs across owners, consultants, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Project Manager in an owner, architecture, engineering, environmental, or construction organization.
• PM experience with direct oversight of consultants and contractors.
• Experience delivering expansion and/or new construction projects >$20M and >50,000 gross square feet.
• Certifications: CGC, CCM, PMP, PgMP, or PfMP.
• Strong knowledge of pre-design/pre-construction processes, building systems, construction technologies, contract management, and delivery methods.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall project delivery including cost, schedule, quality, contract administration, and reporting.
• Manage projects from concept through design, construction, and closeout.
• Develop and manage budgets, schedules, scopes, controls, and contract documentation.
• Oversee consultant and contractor performance and invoices.
• Coordinate RFIs and design conflicts while ensuring compliance with contract documents.
• Monitor performance, variances, and project objectives.
• Lead project meetings and maintain documentation.
• Resolve design, construction, and stakeholder issues to support success.
• Provide leadership for one or more PM teams; support Deputy Program Manager.
