Jacobs is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support planning, coordination and execution of utility infrastructure projects in a collaborative, safety‑driven environment. You will work with engineering, construction, project controls, procurement and client teams to deliver on schedule and within budget.

The role emphasizes development from planning through closeout, with opportunities to gain increasing responsibility and travel to client offices, facilities and active sites as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of project management or related utility experience.
• Experience in planning, scheduling, estimating, and budgeting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and lead meetings.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with planning, coordination, and execution of utility projects.
• Support development activities: scope, estimating, scheduling, constructability reviews.
• Coordinate engineering, construction, procurement, and client teams.
• Monitor scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and deliverables.
• Maintain project docs, logs, minute taking, and change tracking.
• Develop and review schedules, cost forecasts, and progress reports.
• Coordinate design deliverables to support milestones.
• Support procurement, material tracking, and construction readiness.
• Participate in project and stakeholder meetings.
• Identify and resolve field and engineering issues.
