Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead PM/CM initiatives, overseeing multi-disciplinary teams from concept through closeout.

You will manage budgets, schedules, contracts, and reporting while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring project success across design and construction phases. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in project management within owner, A/E, environmental, or construction settings, with credentials (CGC/CCM/PMP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years as a Project Manager in owner, A/E, environmental, or construction org.
• Oversee consultants and contractors directly.
• Experience delivering expansion/new construction >$20M and >50,000 GSF.
• CGC license or CCM or PMP/PgMP/PfMP certification.
• Strong knowledge of pre-design/pre-construction and project delivery methods.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, contracts, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall project delivery including cost, schedule, quality, contracts, and reporting.
• Manage projects from concept through design, construction, completion, and closeout.
• Develop and manage budgets, schedules, scopes, procedures, controls, and contract documentation.
• Oversee consultant and contractor performance throughout project delivery.
• Review invoices, pay applications, and change orders with project controls teams.
• Coordinate RFIs and design conflicts while ensuring contract compliance.
• Monitor performance and identify variances in schedule and budget.
• Lead project meetings and document proceedings during design and construction.
• Provide leadership for one or more project management teams.
• Support Deputy Program Manager in program delivery and objectives.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients and stakeholders.
