Job summary

CECO Environmental seeks a Project Manager III to lead cross-functional initiatives with a focus on scope, schedule, and budget. You will steward complex projects, coordinate distributed teams, and mentor junior staff to ensure delivery on time and within budget.

You will partner with stakeholders across finance, operations, and executives, driving risk management, change control, and continuous process improvements while communicating clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Engineering preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of project management experience and project implementation.
• Experience with distributed project teams.
• Excellent prioritization and organization skills, especially the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all staff levels in the company and with clients.
• Able to work extended hours when needed to help meet project deadlines.
• Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation, and listening skills, with the ability to present complex technical information
• Experience working in a fast paced, high-effort, dynamic work environment.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 or equivalent ERP system.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish scope and detailed requirements for the project and document them with stakeholders.
• Identify and manage issues, risks and changes.
• Communicate and follow-up regularly with team members to ensure tasks are completed.
• Develop project plans for schedule, resources, and budget in collaboration with managers and executives.
• Monitor and track progress against plans.
• Report status to stakeholders through formal and informal methods.
• Communicate status, risks, and goals to teams and management.
• Create regular status reports.
• Engage in continuous improvement of project management processes and standards.
• Monitor actual hours and costs against estimates and budget.
• Monitor and report on the project budget.
• Other duties as required.
