Job summary

CECO Environmental is seeking a Project Engineer III to lead engineering projects from concept through completion. The role collaborates with design, procurement, construction, and QA teams to ensure alignment with goals, budget, and timelines.

The candidate will prepare equipment specifications, review drawings, and provide technical support to the project management and aftermarket teams, with travel to sites as required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
• 8+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience interfacing with marketing, sales, manufacturing and vendors.
• Willingness to travel.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (2-D and 3-D).

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute projects from conception to completion.
• Collaborate with design, procurement, construction, and QA teams.
• Prepare equipment specifications, drawings, and BOM reviews.
• Provide technical support to Project Management and Aftermarket teams.
• Review drawings and validate designs against codes and regulations.
• Travel to customer or vendor sites as needed.
