Job summary

Ameritas seeks a project manager to lead initiative teams using project management and Agile practices to deliver value. The role provides oversight and reporting on moderately complex projects with defined scope and moderate risk.

A successful candidate will apply problem solving, structured thinking, quantitative acumen, and strong communication to influence stakeholders and guide delivery in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5+ years of relevant project management experience.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, or other similar certifications are useful.
• MBA or similar advanced degree desired.

Responsibilities

• Understand project strategic alignment, objectives, benefits, success criteria, assumptions, constraints and steering team membership.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to identify approach, break down work into tasks, estimate and identify dependencies; facilitate Agile practices.
• Develop project cost estimates and secure funding with sponsor support.
• Monitor plans, schedules, costs and resources; report progress and variances.
• Ensure stakeholders understand changes to business processes and provide appropriate training.
• Establish and follow review/approval processes for deliverables; manage risks and issues.
• Assess impact of changes on scope, cost, quality, and schedule; provide alternatives for approval.
• Implement approved changes and integrate into baseline; manage related tasks.
• Document lessons learned and maintain MAR control documents for audit.
