Job summary

Ameritas is seeking a project manager to lead and organize project teams on discrete initiatives, delivering value through defined scope and low to moderate complexity in a hybrid role based in Lincoln, NE or Cincinnati, OH.

You will coordinate cross‑functional work, track costs and schedules, manage risks, and report progress to sponsors, while applying problem solving, structured thinking and professional communication to drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3+ years of related project management experience required.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, or other similar project management certifications are useful.
• MBA or similar advanced degree desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organize project teams on discrete initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to identify approaches, break down work, and create project plans.
• Track project costs and supporting budget monitoring.
• Monitor and update project plans, schedules, costs, and resources; report progress and variances.
• Ensure stakeholders understand changes to business processes and training is provided.
• Follow review/approval processes for project deliverables and manage risks and issues.
• Evaluate changes for impact on scope, cost, quality, and schedule; provide alternatives for approval.
• Implement approved changes and integrate into project baselines.
• Document lessons learned for future delivery.
