United Future is seeking a Project Manager for Heavy Civil / NCDOT work in the Cary/Raleigh market. You will oversee NCDOT roadway, bridge, and utility projects from preconstruction through closeout, with a backlog already won and a direct line to senior leadership.

You will own budgets, schedules, cost reporting, and margins, while leading superintendents, field engineers, and subcontractors to meet production, quality, and safety targets. Relocation to the Raleigh area is welcome.

Qualifications

• Documented NCDOT project experience as the PM is required.
• 5+ years as the Project Manager of record on heavy civil, highway, bridge or utility work.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred, or equivalent field experience.
• OSHA 30 is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Run NCDOT roadway, bridge and utility projects as the Project Manager of record, from preconstruction through closeout.
• Own the budget, schedule, cost reports, forecasting and margin on every job you run.
• Submit accurate cost and income projections and act on variances early.
• Lead superintendents, field engineers and subcontractors to hit production, quality and safety.
• Serve as the main contact for NCDOT, owners, engineers, inspectors and vendors.
• Issue subcontracts and purchase orders and manage subcontractor performance.
• Handle change orders, pay estimates, submittals, claims and contract documentation.
• Run weekly project meetings on schedule and cost, and report performance to leadership.
• Work with estimating on bids and the handoff so the job starts right.
• Keep a strong safety culture on every site.
