Sun Recruiting, Inc. seeks a Project Manager for NCDOT heavy civil work in the Cary/Raleigh market. You will lead NCDOT roadway, bridge and utility projects from preconstruction through closeout, managing budgets, schedules and field teams.

Proven PM experience on NCDOT projects and a track record of end-to-end delivery are required. Relocation to the Raleigh area is welcome, and a backlog of NCDOT work is already won, with exposure to senior leadership and a competitive compensation package

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years as the Project Manager of record on heavy civil projects.
• NCDOT project experience required; be ready to name the jobs.
• End-to-end project delivery experience; not an APM/Engineer role.
• Contractor-side background only; consultants/inspectors not a fit.
• Strong on cost control, schedules, change orders and field teams.
• OSHA 30 is a plus; Triangle area relocation welcomed.

Aufgaben

• Run NCDOT roadway, bridge and utility projects as the PM of record, from preconstruction through closeout.
• Own the budget, schedule, cost reports, forecasting and margin on every job you run.
• Submit accurate cost and income projections and act on variances early.
• Lead superintendents, field engineers and subcontractors to hit production, quality and safety.
• Serve as the main contact for NCDOT, owners, engineers, inspectors and vendors.
• Issue subcontracts and purchase orders and manage subcontractor performance.
• Handle change orders, pay estimates, submittals, claims and contract documentation.
• Run weekly project meetings on schedule and cost, and report performance to leadership.
