Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Senior Project Manager for field-based leadership across multi-district projects in the South Central region. You will direct project teams, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and coordinate with clients, engineers, and vendors to ensure compliant delivery of work.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction, a related engineering degree, and a proven track record of safety, scheduling, and contract administration in heavy civil projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' related experience in the construction industry.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of construction disciplines, union agreements, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, and drawings.
• Self-starter with motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to learn Kiewit's policies, procedures, and software.

Responsibilities

• Direct project teams to meet goals within defined scope, schedule, and budget.
• Establish procedures and controls for engineering work and project execution.
• Represent the project with clients, constructors, subcontractors, and vendors at key meetings.
• Coordinate training and compliance measures for project procedures.
• Secure approvals for changes in scope, budget, or schedule.
• Maintain ongoing client communication and adjust deliverables as needed.
