Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Senior Project Manager for project-based field roles in the South Central District. The position will require leadership of construction teams, controlling scope, schedule and budget while coordinating with clients, engineers, and vendors.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety, compliance with drawings and specifications, mentoring junior engineers, and delivering projects across multiple sites in the South-Central United States.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience in construction
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Advanced knowledge of construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, and drawings

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct project teams to meet goals within defined scope, schedule and budget
• Establish project procedures and controls aligned with contractual documents and quality plans
• Represent the project with clients, architects/engineers, suppliers, subcontractors and vendors
• Coordinate training and compliance to ensure procedures are followed
• Approve changes in scope, budget and schedule
• Maintain client communication and adapt deliverables to meet client and company needs
• Ensure work products comply with industry standards and codes
• Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers
• Track progress against milestones using engineering knowledge
