Zusammenfassung

Kiewit is seeking a Project Engineer for its South Central District. You will lead a team of field and cost engineers, coordinating scheduling, budgeting, and technical execution across highway and heavy civil projects.

You will serve as a bridge between construction management and project team, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery while managing contractual obligations and client interactions. Mobility across TX, LA, MS, AR required.

Qualifikationen

• Undergraduate degree in construction management, construction engineering, or other engineering disciplines.
• 5+ years’ work experience in construction or engineering.
• 3+ years' experience managing engineers with exposure to cost control and scheduling management.
• Ability to read, analyze and identify discrepancies on engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity.
• Passion for safety with focus on preventing injuries.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules with input from field teams and subcontractors.
• Oversee project financials including revenue tracking, cost control, and cash flow forecasting.
• Design and implement temporary works to support construction activities.
• Coordinate permanent design management and quality control to meet specifications and client expectations.
• Lead project closeout, punch lists, final inspections, and documentation handover.
• Serve as primary client contact, addressing concerns and maintaining relationships.
• Assist in operations planning, logistics, resource allocation, and sequencing.
• Manage contracts and subcontracts from negotiation through closeout.
