Job summary

Barton Malow is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex healthcare construction projects in Charleston, South Carolina. The role oversees procurement, planning, field operations, cost management, and team leadership to meet safety, quality, schedule, and budget targets.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in GC/CM construction management, a relevant bachelor's degree, and strong communication skills. Healthcare construction experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• 10+ years’ experience in GC/CM Construction Management.
• Experience with Procore preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement processes including bidder development and subcontracts.
• Lead project planning with schedule creation, site logistics, and cash flow projections.
• Direct field operations, safety plans, punchlist management, and labor relations coordination.
• Manage project costs, budgeting, change management, and daily cost reporting.
• Facilitate project team meetings; coordinate RFIs, submittals, and interface with the Architect/Engineer.
