Job summary

Institute of International Education (IIE) seeks a Senior Project Manager for the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). You will oversee a portfolio of approximately 10 IVLP projects per year, reporting to the Director and guiding junior Project Managers to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.

• Experience managing complex, high-profile international programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication; familiarity with contracts and policy documents.
• Ability to travel within the United States.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of IVLP projects and ensure timely execution.
• Coordinate with U.S. Department of State staff and partners to implement programs.
• Manage project budgets and sponsor compliance.
• Provide mentorship to Project Managers and promote best practices.
• Represent IIE at IVLP meetings, events and conferences; coordinate reporting.
