Job summary

Alliant Energy is seeking a Lead Project Manager to guide Gas Generation Projects from development through commissioning. You will lead the project team, manage risk, and coordinate with EPCs, OE, and EOR within the Alliant Energy Program and PM processes.

The role emphasizes governance, stakeholder engagement, and program management best practices to deliver complex energy projects. A PMP is preferred; 8+ years of experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Preferred PMP certification.
• 8 years of professional experience in program or project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead project governance and stage-gate reviews for large, complex projects.
• Support program and project governance responsibilities and promote value.
• Mentor others in program and project management practices.
• Provide senior-level project management services for large strategic programs.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, OE, EOR, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure risks and issues are escalated and managed to on-time completion.
