Job summary

Alliant Energy in Madison, Wisconsin seeks a Lead Project Manager to oversee development, construction and commissioning of Gas Generation Projects. You will lead the project team, manage risks, and coordinate with EPC contractors, OE, EOR and other key stakeholders.

The role requires a PMP, a Bachelor's in a relevant field and 8+ years of program or project management experience. You will mentor others, promote PM methodology and help deliver on Alliant Energy's safety and reliability goals.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in program or project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, IT, Engineering, or related field; PMP preferred.
• PMP certification is required.
• Experience managing large projects with gas generation or energy infrastructure preferred.
• Ability to lead diverse teams and engage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and manage development, construction, and commissioning of Gas Generation Projects.
• Conduct stage gates and quality reviews for high-risk programs.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, OE, EOR, and other stakeholders.
• Promote PM methodology and deliver updated processes and training.
• Mentor others in program management and change management.
