Job summary

Alliant Energy is seeking a Lead Project Manager to oversee large gas generation projects from development through commissioning, using the company program and project management methodologies. You will lead the project team, manage risks, and coordinate with EPC contractors, OE, and EOR to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree (PM/Engineering/IT) and PMP certification, with 8+ years of program or project management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in project management, engineering, IT, or related field.
• PMP certification required or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead stage-gate and quality reviews for large, complex projects.
• Govern program and project management governance and mentoring.
• Promote and improve PM methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Guide sponsors and stakeholders through the project lifecycle.
• Escalate risks, manage portfolio priorities, and ensure on-time delivery.
