Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex gas development projects within the PMC's Gas Development organization. The role involves planning, budgeting, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring project success from permitting through execution.

You will mentor PM staff and coordinate with multiple departments to deliver large-scale natural gas facilities and related modifications. Ideal candidates have substantial program management experience, advanced certifications, and the

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree is required.
7+ years of related work experience.
Master's degree in project management or MBA is desirable.
PM certifications (PMP, CMII, AACE) are preferred.
Professional Engineer license is a plus.

Responsibilities

Create / Staff / Lead Project Team and coordinate with internal/external organizations.
Establish and maintain communications among all project stakeholders and report status.
Plan scope, schedule, cost, safety, and quality for assigned projects.
Execute projects within approved scope, cost and schedule with integration plans.
Provide leadership, mentoring, and development for PM staff and specialists.
Deliver clear project presentations to Senior Management and sponsors.
