Job summary

Duke Energy Corporation in Charlotte, NC seeks a Senior Project Manager in the Gas Development organization to lead all phases of project planning and execution for natural gas facilities, LNG storage evaluations, and related modifications. Responsibilities include scope, schedule, cost, safety, environmental, communications, and stakeholder coordination, with budget oversight under PMCoE standards.

Travel 5-15% with hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 11+ years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• 7+ years of related work experience in project management.
• Ability to work in a matrixed, multi-team environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and staff a project team, providing leadership and coordination across internal and external organizations.
• Establish and maintain communications among all project stakeholders and report monthly project status.
• Plan and execute projects including scope, schedule, cost, safety, quality, risk and procurement strategies.
• Mentor and develop PM specialists and provide authoritative leadership on projects.
