Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or related field of study dependent on business unit requirements with ten (10) years qualified experience; OR,
• Associate’s degree in the same required disciplines with twelve (12) years of qualified experience; OR,
• High School Diploma/GED with fourteen (14) years of qualified experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, coordinate and manage assigned project activities with expert level of proficiency in all aspects.
• Support and hold employees and contractors accountable for the AEP System Safety Process, ensuring a safe working environment focused on Zero Harm.
• Manage, develop, review and coordinate the project plan, schedule, budget, tools, and staff; reallocate funding as needed.
• Communicate project/outage details and status updates; lead planning meetings with detailed stakeholder presentations and clear reports.
• Develop working relationships with project teams, customers, contractors, vendors; foster teamwork and customer satisfaction.
• Provide guidance and training to improve design, systems, costs; challenge others to achieve informed understanding.
• Ensure maximum customer satisfaction and demonstrate subject matter expert performance on all projects.
• Represent AEP with industrial customers, vendors, and regulators as required.
