Job summary

Cape Environmental Management Inc in Byram Township, NJ, is seeking a Sr. Project Manager - Environmental Remediation to lead projects across New Jersey. You will manage field execution, subcontractors, schedules, budgets, safety, and documentation while serving as the primary client interface.

The role requires strong leadership, scheduling with Primavera P6, and compliance with government regulations. Travel around 50% is expected; onsite work at active project locations; PMP/PE/PG or similar

Qualifications

Ability to read and interpret technical procedures, drawings, and FAR.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for reports and status updates.
Proven negotiation skills and stakeholder management experience.

Responsibilities

Lead onsite project execution to deliver scope safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Build and maintain the Project Management Plan with baselines and changes.
Control scope via WBS, manage contract requirements and change orders.
Develop and maintain the integrated schedule and drive regular reporting.
Own project financials: cost control, forecasting, variance analysis.
Embed safety and quality into planning and field execution; enforce safety plans.
