Job summary

Cavoratalent is seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary design and remediation efforts in Newark, NJ. This full-time onsite role requires a seasoned professional with strong PM skills, regulatory knowledge, and client engagement capabilities to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has at least 10–12 years of environmental engineering or consulting experience, an active LSRP, and a 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of environmental engineering or consulting experience.
• At least 8 years of project management experience.
• Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) Certification.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and remediation practices.
• Excellent scheduling, budgeting, and client coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage environmental site investigations, assessments, and remediation projects.
• Develop technical recommendations based on surface and subsurface conditions.
• Plan scope, milestones, schedules, staffing, and budgets for projects.
• Monitor progress, control costs, and adjust timelines to meet goals.
• Prepare technical reports, design documents, bid packages, and proposals.
• Coordinate internal teams and oversee staff assignments across phases.
• Engage clients with regular status updates and ensure satisfaction.
• Lead proposal development with cost estimates and schedules.
• Contribute to business development and client relationships.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.
