CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager III to join our Generation & Energy Management Team in Hartford, CT, Albany, NY, Reading, PA, Atlanta, GA, Tampa, FL, or Knoxville, TN.

You will lead diverse generation and energy-focused projects, collaborating with experts to deliver innovative solutions across power and thermal systems, district energy networks, and renewable technologies. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required.
• PE license required.
• 9+ years of industry experience with at least 6 years in PM.
• Experience with substation design, district energy, or power generation preferred.
• Design engineering experience preferred.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and interpret contract requirements.
• Experience preparing proposals, project plans, and closeout documents.
• Experience managing project accounting processes including forecasting, budgeting, revenue and cash flow.
• MS Office required; familiarity with MS Project, Primavera P6, or Deltek Vision preferred.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed; consulting industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal development with clear scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Serve as primary client partner with proactive communication.
• Develop WBS and coordinate tasks across teams.
• Manage project schedules, deliverables, and approvals.
• Oversee project financials: budgets, forecasts, revenue, cash flow.
• Direct contract administration and subcontractor coordination.
• Lead project meetings and provide status updates.
• Support growth of CHA’s Generation & Energy Management portfolio.
