Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager III to lead generation and energy management initiatives across multiple sites, including Tampa, FL and other locations. You will guide projects from planning through delivery, manage client relationships, and ensure adherence to schedule and budget.

Ideal candidates bring a PE license, 9+ years in the industry with 6+ years’ PM experience, and a background in substations, district energy, or power generation. Travel as needed is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Science, Planning, Engineering Management, or related field.
• PE license is required.
• Minimum 9 years in the industry with at least 6 years of project management experience.
• Experience with substations, district energy, or power generation is preferred.
• Strong proposal, planning, and project closeout experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal development with clear scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Act as primary client partner with proactive communication.
• Develop WBS and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage schedules, deliverables, approvals, and quality controls.
• Oversee project financials including budgets and cash flow.
• Direct contract administration and subcontractor coordination.
• Lead meetings and provide progress updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Support marketing efforts and growth of the portfolio.
