Job summary

Puget Sound Energy is seeking a Senior Project Manager within the Merchant Energy Delivery team to lead the Front Office Asset Integration program and oversee the integration of energy resources and commercial agreements into ESM operations.

This role coordinates with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution from agreement to operational readiness, including PPAs, BTAs, and capacity contracts. Strong PM skills and energy sector experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of project management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams to achieve milestones.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, procurement, and contract administration.
• Experience coordinating multiple medium to high complexity projects in a cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages all PM activities for integrating energy resources and commercial agreements into ESM operations.
• Leads and improves the FOAI program, governance, processes, and documentation.
• Drives asset integration planning and coordinates scheduling, resources, and milestones.
• Manages integration from agreement execution through operational readiness and handoff.
• Tracks project milestones and progress to achieve commercial operation objectives.
• Coordinates with ESM Traders, Schedulers, Data Analysts, Engineers, Developers, and Counterparties.
• Facilitates stakeholder engagement and ensures seamless integration into ESM systems and processes.
• Develops standardized processes, templates, dashboards, and training materials.
