The role emphasizes business development, client engagement, and cross-office collaboration within an employee‑owned environment, with extensive growth opportunities and a supportive leadership team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree (Civil Engineering preferred)
• PE Certification
• 20+ years of experience in Land Development
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam and Water Resources Software (HEC-RAS & HEC-HMS)
• Team mentality and leadership qualities

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and grow business in Land Development.
• Assist in development of business by marketing to existing and new clients.
• Meet with clients in development community for business development.
• Attend functions to represent LJA at events/workshops beyond office hours.
• Lead and manage execution of land development projects.
• Develop scope, budget, and schedule for projects.
• Manage design team's performance on assigned projects.
• Develop intermediate and long-range plans for systems operation and expansion.
• Review and approve major work orders and budgets.
• Prepare reports for senior management on department activities.
