Job summary

Quanta Services' NorthStar Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead electric utility construction projects, guiding teams, subcontractors, and client relationships through all lifecycle phases.

You will drive planning, budgeting, and risk management while delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget, with a focus on operational excellence and customer satisfaction across multiple engagements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing electric utility construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction jobsite operations and safety.
• PMP®, CMRP®, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Experience with project billing processes (AP/AR).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of the project lifecycle from kickoff to closeout.
• Establish baseline schedules and handoffs from estimating.
• Identify constraints, assign owners, and maintain schedules weekly.
• Manage schedule changes and unplanned events to minimize impact.
• Develop detailed schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
• Lead weekly meetings and maintain client relationships.
• Manage budgets, change orders, and risk mitigation.
• Review AP invoices and prepare AR invoices for billing.
• Coordinate change order logs with operations.
