Job summary

NorthStar Energy Solutions, a Quanta Services Company, is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee electric utility construction projects. You will provide field leadership, coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and utility representatives, and ensure projects meet safety, schedule, and budget targets.

You will lead day-to-day field activities, monitor progress, document site operations, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction management or field leadership experience in electric utility construction.
• Strong understanding of utility construction methods, safety practices, scheduling, and project execution.
• Transmission and substation construction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day construction activities on electric utility projects, ensuring work is performed safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate field operations with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and utility representatives.
• Monitor progress and resolve field issues affecting safety, schedule, or quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain daily reports, field documentation, and project records.
