Job summary

Broward County Public Schools is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee planning, design, and construction of school facilities, ensuring projects meet schedules and budgets in conformance with contract documents and laws.

Responsibilities include enforcing contract terms, coordinating with PMs, consultants, and district staff, and monitoring design and construction progress to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Minimum of six to eight years of experience in the field within the last ten to thirteen years.
• Computer skills as required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Enforce contract terms by monitoring contractor performance.
• Monitor consultant and contractor performance and document results.
• Serve as liaison with consultants and contractors.
• Review deliverables and ensure invoicing aligns with contract terms.
• Provide technical expertise to District facilities planning and problem solving.
• Plan, assign, and review work of Project Managers (PMs).
