Job summary

MPI in St. Louis is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a portfolio of projects from preconstruction to closeout. You will partner with clients, manage budgets up to $60M+, and support the estimating team with bids and change orders.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years with a general contractor, client-facing experience, and proficiency in Procore to drive timely delivery and align with project goals. Travel to sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; construction-related degree a plus.
• 10+ years of experience with a general contractor.
• Prior project manager experience on $20M+ projects; client-facing required.
• Software proficient, e.g., Procore.

My client is a design build general contractor averaging $450M+ in annual revenue with projects spread across multiple sectors (senior living, multifamily, government, hospitality, healthcare, education, etc.). They are looking to grow to about $650M in the next 5 years with growth plans implemented to achieve this. They are located in the St Louis area and have a solid backlog of work for 2026/2027. They pride themselves on developing their team and having long-tenured employees who enjoy coming into work every day. Due to their growth, they are looking to add more team members to their project management department.

Job Description

• Partner with clients from preconstruction phase through closeout.
• Manage projects ranging from $2M - $60M+ in value.
• Assist estimating team with estimating and change orders.

The Successful Applicant
