Tiello in Greater St. Louis is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead multiple small- to mid-sized projects from start to finish.

You will serve as the main client liaison and balance office coordination with on-site oversight to keep projects on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, mentors junior staff, and builds lasting relationships with repeat clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial construction projects from start to finish.
• Oversee 10+ active small- to mid-sized projects simultaneously, depending on project size and complexity.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Split time between the office and local project sites for project coordination and oversight.
• Coordinate closely with clients, field teams, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, change orders, documentation, and overall project performance.
• Lead internal project teams to successfully deliver work on aggressive schedules.
• Maintain accurate and organized project documentation using industry-standard construction software.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with repeat clients.
• Mentor, coach, and support the development of junior project staff.
• Proactively identify and resolve project challenges.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to client expectations.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager who can confidently manage multiple small- to mid-sized projects simultaneously from start to finish.

Rather than managing one large project at a time, this individual may oversee 10+ active projects simultaneously, requiring strong organization, communication, and the ability to quickly shift priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Previous Project Management experience within commercial construction
• Proven ability to independently manage projects from start to finish
• Strong client-facing and relationship-building experience
• Ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously
• Comfortable working within a fast-paced, high-volume project environment
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and project coordination
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to coordinate effectively with field teams, subcontractors, engineers, and clients
• Experience mentoring or developing junior project staff is highly valued
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents
• Based in or able to commute throughout the Greater St. Louis area
• Interested in building long-term relationships with repeat clients and growing with an established organization
