Project Engineer | Commercial Construction | St. Louis

A rapidly growing design-build general contractor is seeking a Project Engineer to support PMs on a variety of local commercial projects ranging from $1M-$15M. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands‑on experience, grow within a supportive team, and build a long‑term career in construction.

Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with day‑to‑day project coordination across multiple commercial projects
• Handle submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and other documentation critical to project execution
• Assist with managing subcontractors and vendors, ensuring smooth communication and timely delivery
• Help maintain project schedules and budgets while learning the ins and outs of full‑cycle project management
• Be stationed on‑site or in the office depending on project needs, providing hands‑on support to the field team
• Contribute to project planning and problem‑solving while growing into a leadership role
• Collaborate with a close‑knit team in a fast‑growing, design‑build environment

Qualifications
